Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza trhu práce v okrese Strakonice. Práce hodnotí vývoj trhu práce v okrese Strakonice v období 2000 až 2009. První část práce se zabývá zdroji dat a základní charakteristikou okresu Strakonice. V další kapitole je stručně nastíněn vývoj před rokem 1989 a transformace trhu práce v ČR. Dále se práce věnuje vývoji zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti trhu práce v okrese Strakonice v letech 2000 až 2009 v okresu jako celku a v jednotlivých obcích. Práce také hodnotí dojížďku do zaměstnání a stanovuje pracovní regiony The main objective of this work is to analyze the labor market in the district Strakonice. The paper evaluates the labor market developments in the district during the period 2000 to 2009. The first part deals with data sources and basic characteristics of the district of Strakonice. The next chapter briefly outlines the developments before 1989 and the transformation of the labor market in the country. Further, a development of employment and unemployment in the labor market in the district Strakonice between 2000 and 2009 in the district as a whole and in individual communities. The work also evaluates the commuting and provides employment regions
