Zadáním diplomové práce je návrh kompaktní urbanistické struktury ve městě Moravský Krumlov. Urbanistická studie řeší historiské jádro a přilehlý průmyslový areál (lokalita u řeky), který se rozléhá v jižní části meandru řeky Rokytné. Diplomová práce se skládá z analytické a návrhové části. Analytická část se zabývá poznáním samotného města, které rovněž vedlo k výběru řešeného území. Urbanistická studie se pak zabývá návrhem urbanistické strurktury, jak v historickém jádře města, kde se převážně jedná o dostavbu volných proluk, tak nové čtvrti u řeky. Pro řešené území historického jádra je charakterický zaklenutý meandr řeky Rokytné. Spolu s výraznou svažitostí terénu a blízkostí rozsáhlého průmyslového areálu, jádro města postrádá propojenost, jak uvnitř území, tak s okolní zástavbou. Návrh se snaží o odstranění těchto bariér se snahou o navrácení prioritního postavení pro lidi - chodce. The assignment of this diploma thesis is the design of a compact urban structure in the town of Moravský Krumlov. The thesis is divided into an analytical part and a subsequent urban planning study. First the analytical part deals with the comprehension of the town itself. Hereby one outcome is that the region of focus is the historic town center as well as the adjacent industrial area which is located in the southern part of the headland surrounded by the meander of the Rokytná River. Within the urban planning study, the construction within the historic town center is mainly focused on a vacant area, whereas in the industrial area part a new quarter by the river is proposed. The area of the historic town center is characterised by the arched meander of the Rokytná River. Together with the significant slope of the terrain and the proximity of the large industrial area, the town core lacks on connectivity between the historic town center and the surrounding buildings. The aim of the developed proposal is to remove these barriers and to return priority to the inhabitants and visitors. Here among other aspects, especially pedestrians are brought into focus.
