Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zmapovat saturaci potřeby stravování seniorů v domácím prostředí a zjistit faktory, které ovlivňují výběr potravin. Výzkum byl proveden u seniorů Plzeňského kraje anonymním dotazníkem. Výzkumná část práce nám dává představu o aktuálním stravování seniorů v domácím prostředí. Výzkum prokázal, že senioři nedodržují výživové doporučení. Ze zjištěných výsledků byly odhaleny některé nedostatky ve stravování. Dále lze na základě výzkumu konstatovat, že se na racionální výživě seniorů negativně podílí vysoké ceny potravin. The aim of the bachelor work was to map out the saturation of the need of nourishment in home environment and to find out the factors which influence the choice of food of seniors in their home environment. The research work was done at seniors living at home in the region of Pilsen. The research part of the work shows the nourishment of the seniors in their homes. From the research resulted that seniors did not keep the nourishment recommendations. Some nourishment drawbacks were revealed. Further it was found out that the nourishment of seniors is being influenced negatively by high food prices.
