Toto téma jsem si vybrala proto, že problematika migrace se stala v současné Evropě jedním z aktuálních témat veřejného života a jeho důležitost stoupá, neboť i počet migrantů se stále zvyšuje. České republika se s problematikou uprchlictví a imigrace setkává krátce po pádu komunismu v roce 1989. Do té doby byla dlouhá léta od ostatního světa izolována, a proto se nyní může zdát být na tuto problematiku nepřipravená. To je jednak vidět na nedokonalé integrační politice, ale i na přístupu občanů k nově příchozím. Vzhledem k tomu, že se v posledních letech zvýšil počet imigrantů a uprchlíků přicházející do České republiky jako cílové země, by bylo třeba, abychom se naučili žít s cizinci vedle sebe. Diplomovou práci jsem zaměřila na problematiku integrace imigrantů, azylantů a jejich dětí, neboť si myslím, že právě otázka integrace cizinců do české společnosti je pro bezproblémové soužití jednou z nejdůležitějších. Práci jsem rozdělila na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části diplomové práce se zabývám vývojem migrace ve světě a vývojem migrace v ČR, historií uprchlictví v ČR, problematikou nezletilých cizinců bez doprovodu, psychosociální situací imigrantů a azylantů, jejich integrací, vzděláváním dětí cizinců, multikulturní výchovou a sociální prací s imigranty, azylanty a jejich dětmi. V praktické části jsem použila metodu kvantitativního výzkumu. Cílem diplomové práce bylo odhalit nedostatky v integraci dětí imigrantů a azylantů žijících v české společnosti. Metodou pro získání dat pro výzkum bylo dotazování, technikou sběru dat byl vlastní dotazník.Vytvořila jsem tři typy dotazníků. Jeden dotazník byl určen pro děti imigrantů a azylantů navštěvujících základní školu. Rozdala jsem 60 dotazníků, návratnost byla 86,6%. Druhý dotazník byl určen pro sociální pracovníky z různých organizací zabývajících se problematikou integrace cizinců. Zde se mi z 20 rozeslaných dotazníků vrátilo pouze 6. Návratnost byla 30%. Třetí dotazník byl určen pro pedagogy základních a středních škol. Bylo rozdáno 25 dotazníků. Návratnost těchto dotazníků byla 64%. V hypotéze 1 jsem předpokládala, že v ČR se nepoužívají žádné speciální metody určené pro integraci dětí imigrantů a azylantů. V hypotéze 2 jsem předpokládala, že čím je pobyt dětí imigrantů a azylantů na území ČR delší, tím se méně setkávají s projevy rasismu a xenofobie. Obě hypotézy se na základě výsledků z provedeného výzkumu potvrdily. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky z teoretické a praktické části. The subject of my thesis is {\clqq}Integration of Children of Immigrants and of Asylum Seekers``. I have chosen this topic because migration problems have become one of the actual topics in public life in the present Europe and its importance increases because the number of migrants constantly increases. The Czech Republic encountered the problems of fugitives and immigration shortly after the fall of communism in 1989. To this time it had been isolated from the other world for a long time and therefore it may seem it is unprepared for these problems. This can be seen on imperfect integration policy, but also on attitude of public towards the newcomers. Considering the fact that the number of immigrants and fugitives coming to the Czech Republic as a destination country has increased, it is necessary for us to learn to co-live with the foreigners. I have aimed the thesis at problems of integration of immigrants, asylum seekers and their children because I think that the question of integration of foreigners into the Czech society is one of the most important for the trouble free co-existence. I divided the work into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part of the thesis I am researching the development of migration in the world and development of migration in the Czech Republic, history of fugitives in the Czech Republic, problems of underage aliens without close escort, psychosocial situation of immigrants and asylum seekers, their integration, education of children of aliens, multicultural education and social work with immigrants, asylum seekers and their children. In the practical part I used the method of a quantitative research. Goal of this thesis was to uncover the insufficiencies in integration of children of the immigrants and asylum seekers living in the Czech society. Questioning was the method for gathering data for research, data collection technique was the questionnaire. I created three types of the questionnaires. One of them was designated for children of immigrants and asylum seekers attending basic school. I handed out 60 questionnaires, returnability was 86.6%. Second questionnaire was designated for social workers from various organizations engaged in problems of integration of aliens. Here only 6 from the 20 sent out questionnaires returned to me. Returnability was 30%. The third questionnaire was designated for basic school and high school teachers. 25 questionnaires were handed out. Returnability of these questionnaires was 64%. In hypothesis 1 I assumed that there are no special methods designated for integration of children of immigrants and asylum seekers in the Czech Republic. In hypothesis 2 I assumed that the longer is the residence of children of immigrants and asylum seekers in the area of the Czech Republic the less they meet with racism and xenophobia. Both hypotheses were confirmed on the basis of conducted research. Findings from the theoretical and practical part are summarized at the end of the thesis.
