Hlavním předmětem této práce je reflexe problematiky etiky terminálních stavů. Strukturu práce tvoří čtyři tematické celky. V první části práce jde o seznámení s pojmem lékařská etika, popíši její předmět, historický vývoj a principy. Druhý blok je zaměřen na největší existenciální událost lidského života, smrt a na postoj člověka ke smrti. K posledním okamžikům člověka patří hledání smyslu života, ale také utrpení. Proto se věnuji i těmto tématům. Třetí část práce se vztahuje k etickým problémů The main subject of this thesis is a reflection issue of the terminal care ethics. The structure of the thesis consists of four thematic units. The first part is the introduction to the concept of medical ethics: the description of the subject, the historical development and its principles.
