Bakalářská práce se zabývá supervizí jako důležitým nástrojem pro pracovníky v pomáhajících profesích. Cílem práce je zjistit, kterou funkci supervize pokládají mnou vybraní sociální pracovníci za stěžejní. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku pomáhajících profesí, zejména nároky a úskalími, která jsou s touto profesí spojená. Blíže se věnuje povolání sociálního pracovníka. Druhá část je věnována supervizi, jejím formám, cílům, funkcím, nástrojům. Praktickou část tvoří kvalitativní výzkum. Jedná se o 4 polostrukturované rozhovory a jejich následnou analýzu. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že vybraní sociální pracovníci oceňují podpůrnou i vzdělávací funkci supervize. Přestože mají vybraní sociální pracovníci ambivalentní zkušenosti se supervizí, přináší jim mnoho nového: tvůrčí prostor, ve kterém sdílejí své zkušenosti, porozumění souvislostem, vzájemnou podporu a obohacení o jiné možnosti řešení, jiné pohledy a nápady. Supervize podporuje reflexi a sebejistotu pracovníků, působí psychohygienicky, je důležitá pro soudržnost týmu. Působí i v zájmu profesionálního a osobního růstu, může přinést též sebepoznání. The presented thesis is concerned with the supervision and its importance for people working in helping professions. The aim of this work is to find out  which function of the supervision is considered to be fundamental for chosen social workers. The thesis consists of two parts. The first theoretical section is focused on the characteristic of helping professions, especially on requirements and difficulties  connected with helping professions .This part  is centred more on social workers. The second section is intent on the  supervision, its forms, aims, functions and tools. The practical part is formed as a qualitative research. It is based on four semi-structured interviews with the social workers and their subsequent analyses. The result of the research has proved that the social workers appreciate the supportive and educational function of the supervision. Although the social workers described their supervision experiences as ambivalent, it can bring them many new things: a creative place for sharing experiences, supporting each other, contextual understanding and variegating. The supervision supports reflection and self-confidence and has the important psychohygienic and team cohesion impact. Also the possibility of the professional and personal growth and the occasion of selfknowledge is significant.
