Anotace Varování obyvatel v České republice je zabezpečováno jednotným systémem varování a vyrozumění. Tento systém se skládá z koncových prvků, rotačních nebo elektronických sirén, bezdrátových rozhlasů a ovládacích terminálů. Včasné varování obyvatel je důležité při vzniku havárií a mimořádných událostí.V současné době se do technologií jednotného systému varování a vyrozumění investují nemalé finanční prostředky a zavádí se nové koncepce v oblasti vyrozumění a varování obyvatel. Cílem práce je zjistit chování obyvatel Jihočeského kraje při spuštění jednotného systému varování a vyrozumění. Zjistit počet osob, které by v případě vzniku mimořádné události věděli, jak se zachovat v dané situaci. Výzkum byl prováděn formou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníkem byli osloveni občané Jihočeského kraje všech věkových kategorií. Z těchto vyplněných dotazníků byly zpracovány grafy. V závěru práce shrnuji nejdůležitější poznatky, které vyplynuly z provedeného průzkumu a navrhuji možné řešení k dané problematice. Annotation Warning of inhabitants in the Czech Republic is ensured by an integrated system of warning and notification. The system consists of terminal elements, rotating or electronic sirens, wireless public address systems and control terminals. Timely warning of inhabitants is essential in case of accidents and extraordinary events. Currently, substantial amounts are being invested into the integrated system of warning and notification and new concepts are being introduced into the sphere of notification and warning of inhabitants. The objective of my thesis is to monitor the behavior of inhabitants of the South Bohemian region in case of a start-up of the integrated system of warning and notification. I.e. to identify the number of persons who would know what to do in case of an extraordinary event. The research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey. Questionnaires were distributed to inhabitants of the South Bohemian region in all age categories. The completed questionnaires were processed into diagrams. In conclusion of the thesis I have summarized the most important findings resulting from the survey and proposed potential solutions for this issue.
