Tato práce se zabývá vztahem mezi ekonomickou krizí z roku 2008 a vzestupem populismu ve státech jižní Evropy. V práci byla použita metoda rešerše odborné literatury, analýza sociologických dat k tématu dopadu ekonomické krize a analýza úspěšných populistických stran ve vybraných státech regionu jižní Evropy. V první části práce definuje populismus a ekonomickou krizi, dále se věnuje vztahu mezi těmito dvěma pojmy a možném datovém měření populismu. V další části práce charakterizuje region jižní Evropy a konkrétní vybrané státy, kterými jsou Řecko, Španělsko a Itálie. Zabývá se především jejich strukturálními problémy, které by mohly souviset s růstem populismu. V hlavní části práce analyzuje dopady ekonomické krize na vybrané státy, nejdříve ekonomické a sociální, následně politické. V závěrečné části se práce zaměřuje na samotný vzestup populismu ve vybraných státech. Na příkladů tří nejúspěšnějších populistických stran, řecké SYRIZI, španělské Podemos a italského Hnutí pěti hvězd, hledá společné jmenovatele pro jeho vzestup. Za ty práce v závěru určila historické strukturální problémy, dopady ekonomické krize z roku 2008, nedůvěra v stávající politické elity a úspěšnou kampaň populistických stran s využitím nových komunikačních technologií a občanských protestů. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA populismus,... This work explores the relationship between the economic crisis of 2008 and the rise of populism in Southern European countries. The study employs a method of literature review, analysis of sociological data on the impact of the economic crisis, and an examination of successful populist parties in selected Southern European states. In the first part of the work, populism and economic crisis are defined, followed by an exploration of the relationship between these two concepts and possible methods for dating the rise of populism. The subsequent section characterizes the Southern European region and specific selected countries, namely Greece, Spain, and Italy. The focus is primarily on their structural problems that may be linked to the growth of populism. In the main part of the work, the impacts of the economic crisis on the selected states are analyzed, initially from an economic and social perspective and subsequently from a political standpoint. The concluding section of the work zooms in on the rise of populism in the selected states. Using the examples of the three most successful populist parties - Greek SYRIZA, Spanish Podemos, and the Italian Five Star Movement - the study seeks common denominators for their ascent.
