Východiska: Užívání alkoholu v období menopauzy u žen je velmi málo zmapováno. Klimakterium a přechod z reprodukčního života do života bez menzes jsou spojeny s mnoha nejen zdravotními výzvami. Cíl: Cílem výzkumu bylo zmapovat souvislosti mezi užíváním alkoholu a obdobím menopauzy. Design práce: Kvantitativní výzkum je založen na analýze dat získaných prostřednictvím anonymního dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo na facebookových stránkách Menopauza není pauza. Součástí dotazníku byly dva standardizované dotazníky, a to Kuppermanův index a Test pro identifikaci poruch způsobených užíváním alkoholu AUDIT. Výzkumný soubor: Výzkumný soubor byl složen z 89 respondentek v rozmezí od 40 - 55 let. Tento soubor byl dále rozdělen na dvě skupiny, a to na ženy, které prošly menopauzou (n = 35) a na ženy, které menopauzou neprošly (n = 54). Metody: Deskriptivní analýza byla provedena metodami popisné statistiky. Stanovené hypotézy byly ověřovány pomocí Spearmanova neparametrického korelačního koeficientu a jeho testu statistické významnosti. Dále byl použitý Shapiro-Wilkův test a Mann-Whitney U test. Výsledky: První hypotéza zkoumala vztah mezi hodnotou Kuppermanova indexu a počtem negativních změn. Statistický test neprokázal významnou souvislost mezi počtem negativních změn u žen a Kuppermanovým indexem.... Background: Alcohol use during menopause in women is poorly mapped. Aim: The aim of the research was to map the link between alcohol use and the period of menopause. Design of the work: Quantitative research is based on the analysis of data obtained through an anonymous questionnaire survey that took place on the Facebook page Menopause is not a pause. The questionnaire included two standardized questionnaires, namely the Kupperman index and the AUDIT test for the identification of alcohol use disorders. Research set: The research sample consisted of 89 respondents ranging from 40 to 55 years of age.
