V bakalářské práci byla k ověřování zadaných hypotéz zvolena kvalitativní metoda výzkumu. Použitá technika sběru dat je sekundární analýza údajů obsažených v Evidenčně statistickém systému kriminality Policie České republiky spravovaného Policejním Prezidiem v Praze. Analýza statistických výstupů evidenčně statistického systému kriminality u trestné činnosti páchané pod vlivem návykových látek byla provedena u alkoholu v průběhu let 2007, 2008 a 2009, u ostatních návykových látek za rok 2009, a byla rozdělena do jednotlivých skupin. Všechny zpracované a vyhodnocené statistické výstupy zahrnovaly kriminalitu v rámci Krajského ředitelství Jihočeského kraje. An aim of the thesis was to analyse the criminality in the South Bohemian region with regard to the degree of its severity, frequency and structure and eventually other relevant factors affecting the motivation. The objective has been achieved. It was found out through secondary analyses of a criminality evidence statistic system administered by Police Presidum in Prague that 61% of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol in the South Bohemian region over periods considered are from the traffic area. 15 % of examined crimes were constituted from violent crimes, 9 % of crimes against a property, 10 % of generally dangerous offenses, 0 % of economic crimes and 5 % of other ones.
