Úkolem této bakalářské práce je zpracovat literární studii zaměřenou na australského ovčáka. Práce tedy obsahuje historii plemene ve světě i v České republice. Dále práce pojednává o podmínkách potřebných k uchovnění jedinců. Také popisuje i využití plemene. V další části jsou popsány nejčastější onemocnění a také jejich charakteristika. V závěru práce se nachází statistika dysplazie kyčelního kloubu a také dysplazii loketního kloubu. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to make literary study focused on the Australian Shepherd. This work contains the history of the breed in the world and in the Czech Republic. Futhermore, the work discusses about conditions neccesary for breeding. It also desribes the use of the breed. The next part desribes the most common diseases and their characteristics. At the end of the thesis, there are summarized statistics of hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia.
