Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá studiem smrku ztepilého (Picea abies) a jedle bělokoré (Abies alba) na území LHC Janovice. Cílem bylo vytvořit co nejdelší letokruhové chronologie smrku ztepilého a jedle bělokoré z žijících stromů, určit citlivost radiálního růstu v závislosti na klimatických faktorech (průměrná měsíční/sezónní teplota a měsíční/sezónní úhrn srážek) a porovnat klimaticko-růstovou odezvu mezi těmito dřevinami. Z vybraných dřevin byly odebrány vzorky prostřednictvím Presslerova přírůstového nebozezu, které byly následně analyzovány. Byla provedena vizuální a statistická synchronizace, křížové datování, standardizace letokruhových řad a byly vypočteny klimaticko-růstové vztahy. Analýzou klimaticko-růstových odezev bylo zjištěno, že pro růst smrku ztepilého na daném stanovišti jsou klíčové vysoké teploty v jarním období a nízké teploty s dostupnými srážkami v měsíci červnu. Naproti tomu jedle bělokorá vykazovala vyšší citlivost vůči dostupnosti srážek před začátkem vegetačního období (únor) a v červenci. Jak jedle bělokorá, tak smrk ztepilý vykazovaly zvyšující citlivost k teplotám a srážkám po roce cca 1980. The presented thesis deals with tree ring research of the Norway spruce (Picea abies) and the European silver fir (Abies Alba) in the area of Czech State Forest (Janovice – organizational unit). The goal of the study was to create as long chronologies as possible from living trees of Norway spruce and European silver fir and compare the sensitivity of radial growth to climate parameters (average monthly/seasonal temperatures and average monthly/seasonal precipitation) between these two woody plant species. Tree cores were sampled by using Pressler borer from the selected individuals of studied tree species. The data were processed by standard dendrochronological approaches (e.g. visual and statistical synchronization, cross-dating, age-trend standardization, climate-growth response analysis). The analysis of climate-growth responses showed that high temperatures in the spring and low temperatures with available precipitation in June are key for radial growth of Norway spruce in studied site. In contrast, European silver fir showed a higher sensitivity to precipitation before the beginning of the growing season (February) and in summer (July). Both European silver fir and Norway spruce showed increasing sensitivity to high temperatures and precipitation since 1980.
