Bakalářská práce předkládá výsledky výpočtu množství vázaného uhlíku ve stínících dřevinách a kávovníku na třech vybraných agrolesnických kávových plantážích v departmentu Matagalpa, které se nachází v nadmořské výšce od 880 m n. m. do 1400 m n. m. Území vybraných plantáží náleží do ekosystému tropických horských mlžných lesů. Nejvyšší zásoba vázaného uhlíku v nadzemní i podzemní biomase stínících dřevin byla na plantáži Selva Negra nacházející se v nadmořské výšce 880 – 1 300 m n. m. a to 48,7 ± 1,5 Mg ha-1, navíc v kávovníku zde bylo vázáno 2,5 ± 0,22 Mg ha-1. Na plantáži La Dalia v nadmořské výšce 950 – 1 050 m n. m. byla nadzemní i podzemní zásoba uh-líku ve stínících dřevinách 33,36 ± 1,94 Mg ha-1 a 2,3 ± 0,5 Mg ha-1 v kávovníku. Celko-vá zásoba uhlíku z nadzemní i podzemní biomasy stínících dřevin na plantáži La Espe-ranza, v nadmořské výšce 1 350 – 1 400 m n. m., byla 28,8 ± 2,6 Mg ha-1. U kávovníků na této plantáži byla celková zásoba 1,9 ± 0,02 Mg ha-1. Ze zjištěných informací byly navrhnuty možnosti financování. Pokud by studované plantáže měly zájem o finanční zisk z obchodovaného uhlíku, mohla by mít každá jednotlivě teoreticky nárok na jedno-rázový příspěvek: 2 656,47 USD (La Eperanza), 4 430,34 USD (Selva Negra), 3 085,66 USD (La Dalia). The bachelor's thesis presents the results of calculating the amount of sequestered carbon in shading trees and coffee plants on three selected agroforestry coffee plantations in the department of Matagalpa, which are located at an altitude from 880 m above sea level to 1400 m above sea level. The territory of the selected plantations belongs to the ecosystem of tropical montane cloud forest. The highest stock of carbon in the above-ground and underground biomass of shading trees was at the Selva Negra plantation, located at an altitude of 880 – 1,300 m above sea level, it was 48,7 ± 1,5 Mg ha-1, in addition coffee plants was 2,5 ± 0,22 Mg ha-1. At the La Dalia plantation at an altitude of 950 – 1,050 m above sea level, the above-ground and underground carbon stock in shade trees was 33,36 ± 1,94 Mg ha-1 and 2,3 ± 0,5 Mg ha-1 in the coffee plant. The total carbon stock from aboveground and belowground biomass of shade trees at the La Esperanza plantation, at an altitude of 1,350 – 1,400 m above sea level, was 28,8 ± 2,6 Mg ha-1. In coffee plants, the total supply was 1,9 ± 0,02 Mg ha-1. Funding options were proposed from the information found. If the studied plantations were interested in fi-nancial gain from traded carbon, they could each individually be entitled to a one time contribution: USD 2,656.47 (La Eperanza), USD 4,430.34 (Selva Negra), USD 3,085.66 (La Dalia).
