Bakalářská práce se zabývá biblickými motivy v románu Letopisy Narnie: Lev, čarodějnice a skříň od irského spisovatele Cliva Staplese Lewise. Práce se zaměří nejen na jejich přítomnost v díle, ale pokusí se o reflexi dobové a současné recepce románu s ohledem na vybrané téma. Následně porovná knižní předlohu s televizním seriálem z roku 1988 ("The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe", režie Marilyn Fox) se stejnojmennou filmovou adaptací z roku 2005 (režie Andrew Adamson) v kontextu použití biblických motivů a námětů. Práce si klade za cíl sledovat, zda se biblické motivy původního textu promítají do filmových adaptací, a nastínit vývoj sekularizace vnímání příběhů pro děti. The bachelor thesis deals with biblical motifs in the novel The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by Irish writer Clive Staples Lewis. The thesis will not only focus on their presence in the work but will also attempt to reflect on the contemporary and modern reception of the novel with regard to the chosen theme. It will then compare the book with the 1988 television series ('The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe', directed by Marilyn Fox) with the 2005 film adaptation of the same name (directed by Andrew Adamson) in the context of the use of biblical motifs and themes. The thesis aims to investigate whether the biblical motifs of the original text are reflected in the film adaptations, and to outline the development of the secularization of the perception of children's stories.
