Tato práce se věnuje základnímu popisu jednotky dobrovolných hasičů v České republice. Jednotlivé kapitoly této práce popisují historii hasičů, zvláště dobrovolných hasičů, jejich vývoje, současného stavu a hlavních povinností. V kapitole týkající se historie je stručný popis jednotky dobrovolných hasičů a je v ni také uvedena část týkající se historie ve Frymburku od první zmínky až k současnosti. V dalších částech je práce zaměřena n detailní charakteristiku právních předpisů, které přesně definují veškerá pravidla pro dobrovolné hasiče a pro jednotky dobrovolných hasičů. Dokumentace dobrovolných hasičů ve Frymburku, její materiální, morální a teoretické vybavení, zázemí, je popsáno v závěru práce. Po tomto popisu práce pokračuje stručným popisem veškerého vybavení a dokumentace včetně návrhu na její zlepšení. Práce současně obsahuje návrh způsobu a cíle, za kterým by se konkrétní jednotka dobrovolných hasičů ve Frymburku měla vydat. Přílohy obsahují několik dokumentů, které musí udržovat každá obec ohledně každé jednotky dobrovolných hasičů obce. This work deals with the basic description of the Volunteer Fire Units in the Czech Republic. In individual chapters of the thesis the history of fire fighters, especially voluntary firefighters, their evolution, current status and major responsibilities are described. In the chapter on history there is a brief description of a Volunteer Fire Unit, and a section on history of the Frymburk Volunteer Fire Unit from the first references to the present is also mentioned. Other chapters of the thesis are focused on a detailed description of legislature that clearly defines all the rules for volunteer firefighters and Volunteer Fire Units. Documentation of the Volunteer Fire Unit in Frymburk, its material, moral and theoretical equipment, facilities, are described in the final section of the thesis. And it is followed by a brief description of all the equipment and documentation, including proposals for improvement. The thesis also includes a suggestion of the goals the particular Volunteer Fire Unit in Frymburk could pursue. The attachments to the thesis contain several documents that have to be maintained in each municipality on each Volunteer Fire Unit in the municipality.
