Jádrem této práce je činnost Evropské unie na palestinském území, které je ovšem nutno zpočátku vymezit jak historicky tak i v politicko-geografické sféře. Dále pro pochopení všech souvislostí je potřeba politiku vůči Palestině zasadit do teoretického rámce zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky Evropské unie a i dalších souvisejících politik. Největší prostor je věnován přítomnosti a činnosti Evropské unie v Palestině a jejich následné analýze. Zpočátku jsou zmíněny historické souvislosti této aktivity pro porovnání s nynějšími formami od humanitární, přes hospodářskou a obchodní spolupráci, až po jednotlivé postoje představitelů Evropské unie a jejích členů k vyhlášení samostatnosti. Je ovšem nutno tuto činnost zobecnit v kontextu společné bezpečnostní a zahraniční politiky Evropské unie. Cílem práce je analýza tohoto angažování a zhodnocení jeho výsledků. The core of this work is the activity of the European Union in the Palestinian territories, which, however, it is necessary to define it historically and in the politico-geographical sphere. In addition, to understand all the contexts we need a policy towards Palestine fit into the theoretical framework of the foreign and security policy of the EU and other relevant policies. The largest part of this work is devoted to the presence and activities of the European Union in Palestine and subsequent analysis. Initially outlines the historical context of this activity for compare it with the existing forms of humanitarian, despite the economic and trade cooperation, to the respective positions of representatives of the European Union and its members to declare autonomy. However, it is necessary to generalize this work in the context of the common security and foreign policy of the European Union. The aim of this thesis is an analysis and assessment of involvement its results.
