V diplomové práci s názvem "Benediktinská tradice modlitby a mezináboženský dialog" jde o představení modlitby podle Benedikta z Nursie a její význam v mezináboženském dialogu. Modlitba má doprovázet život každého křesťana. Řeholní život, jak jej napsal a pro mnichy určil Benedikt z Nursie ve své řeholi, je životem modlitby. Benediktova řehole má však uplatnění díky všeobecně platným zásadám i mimo klášter a může být přiměřeným způsobem součástí duchovní zkušenosti každého křesťana. Cílem této diplomové práce je ukázat, jaký význam má modlitba a způsob života modlitby pro mezináboženský dialog podle benediktinských mnichů současné doby Bede Griffiths, Thomase Mertona, Johna Maina a Laurence Freemana, kteří mají zkušenost mezináboženského dialogu s hinduistickými a buddhistickými mnichy v oblasti duchovního života a zejména různých podob kontemplativní modlitby. Tato diplomová práce je členěna do tří částí. V první části je představeno ve stručnosti historické pozadí sepsání Řehole Benediktovy inspirované tradicí Otců pouště. Dozvíme se, co tvoří základ způsobu života modlitby podle řehole, jak ji Benedikt z Nursie pro mnichy sepsal. Tématu modlitby v Benediktově Řeholi se věnuje celá druhá část této práce. Začíná popisem základů duchovního umění. Jakých nástrojů se používá před tím, než se přistoupí k... Diploma thesis "Prayer in St. Benedict's monastic rule and interreligious dialogue" is focused on the St. Benedict prayer presentation and its importance in the interreligious dialogue. The prayer should be considered as an essential parts of each Christian religious life. Christian life represented and described by St. Benedict, is the life of prayer. Benedict monastic rule has application, however, thanks to the generally applicable principles outside the monastery and should be suitable part of the spiritual experience of every Christian. The main goal of this thesis it to show the importance of real prayer and way of life in prayer for interreligious dialogue by Benedictine monks in the time of Bede Griffiths, Thomas Merton, John Main and Laurence Freeman, representing experience regarding interreligious dialogue with Hindu and Buddhist monks about the contemplation, prayer and different religious traditions.
