Tématem bakalářské práce je ateliér Malba III Akademie výtvarných umění v Praze v letech, kdy byl pod vedením Michaela Rittsteina, 2001-2018. Práce se zaměřuje na Michaela Rittsteina jako umělce a pedagoga a v souvislostí s tím i na jeho žáky. Práce tedy sleduje šest generačně odlišných studentů v průřezu 17 let Rittsteinova působení na AVU, které spojuje absolvování jeho ateliéru, určitý druh figurální malby a reflexe umění a doby 70. a 80. let. Jedná se o Alenu Anderlovou, Karla Jerieho, Martina Salajku, Igora Grimmicha, Tomáše Jetelu a Jana Herese. Na základě rozhovorů s danými umělci se práce zabývá formou výuky Michaela Rittsteina, vztahy v ateliéru, celkovými vztahy na AVU během Rittsteinova působení tam, zároveň i Rittsteinovým vlivem na své žáky a jejich současnou tvorbou. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the stuido Painting III of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the years when it was under the leadership of Michael Rittstein, 2001-2018. The work focuses on Michael Rittstein as an artist and pedagogue and, in connection with that, on his students. Thus, the work follows six generationally different students in a cross-section of 17 years of Rittstein's work at AVU, which combines graduation from his studio, a certain type of figure painting and reflection on the art and time of the 70s and 80s. They are Alena Anderlová, Karel Jerie, Martin Salajka, Igor Grimmich, Tomáš Jetela and Jan Heres. Based on interviews with the given artists, the thesis deals with Michael Rittstein's form of teaching, relationships in the studio, overall relationships at AVU during Rittstein's time there, as well as Rittstein's influence on his students and their current work.
