Aktivní komunikace soudů v oblasti prezentace své rozhodovací činnosti ve vztahu k jejímu mediálnímu pokrytí Abstrakt Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem komunikačních aktivit soudů na mediální pokrytí jejich rozhodovací činnosti. Její premisou je myšlenka otevřenosti justice, kterou lze chápat jako snahu o budování a rozvoj aktivní a účelné komunikace soudů s veřejností. České vrcholné soudy však k této oblasti přistupují značně rozdílně, od otevřeně a aktivně komunikujícího Ústavního soudu, až po zdrženlivý a uzavřený postoj Nejvyššího soudu. Práce se zabývá mimo jiné podobou těchto odlišností a jejich dopady na to, jak o rozhodnutích daných soudů informují média. První kapitola práce se snaží rozebrat podstatné aspekty aktivní a otevřené prezentace soudních rozhodnutí a zároveň představit její prostředky a nástroje. Rovněž zkoumá postoje tuzemských vrcholných soudů k dané problematice, a to prostřednictvím vyjádření jejich tiskových mluvčí na autorem zaslané dotazy. Druhá kapitola se věnuje vztahu soudů a médií. Pojednává o jeho významu v dnešní společnosti a rozebírá úskalí a rizika, která z něj vyplývají. Zabývá se také faktory ovlivňujícími skutečnost, zdali média o konkrétním rozhodnutí informují a také hranicemi projevu soudce ve vztahu k médiím. Třetí a čtvrtá kapitola sestává z empirického výzkumu,... 1 Active communication of the courts in the field of presentation their decisions in relation to their media coverage Abstract The thesis deals with the impact of communication activities of courts on media coverage of their decisions. Its premise is the idea of openness of justice, which can be interpretated as an effort to build and develop active and effective communication of courts with the public. However, the Czech high courts have taken very different approaches to this area, ranging from the open and active communication of the Constitutional Court to the passive and closed attitude of the Supreme Court. The thesis examines, among others, the nature of these differences and their impact on the way the media report on the decisions of the courts. The first chapter of the thesis attempts to analyse significant aspects of the active and open presentation of courts decisions and introduce its means and tools. It also examines the attitudes of domestic high courts on the issue, through the statements of their spokespersons in response to questions sent by the author. The second chapter focuses on the relationship between the courts and the media. It discusses its importance in today's society and analyses the pitfalls and risks that arise from it.
