Jazyk je nejdůležitější nástroj pro komunikaci lidí. Každý jazyk má svá specifika, je odrazem dané kultury. Jazyk se stále mění, protože poznání a myšlení lidí se stále rozvíjí. Frazémy jsou typické jednotky jazyka a jejich studium pomůže porozumět dvěma porovnávaným jazykům (zde češtině a čínštině) a následně porozumět kulturním rozdílům mezi dvěma vzdálenými zeměmi (České republice a Číně). Tato diplomová práce se zabývá nejfrekventovanějšími názvy zvířat v české a čínské frazeologii. Cílem práce je popsat nejen strukturu a typy frazémů v obou jazycích, ale především sémantiku a symboliku nejčastěji se vyskytujících názvů zvířat, porovnat shodné názvy, vysvětlit případné rozdíly v jejich distribuci a zachytit jejich absenci v každém ze dvou jazyků. Klíčová slova: názvy zvířat, frazémy, frazeologie, čeština, čínština Language is the most important apparatus for human communication. Each language has its own specifics, it is a reflection of a given culture. Language is always changing because people's knowledge and thinking is always evolving. Phrases are typical units of language and studying them will help to understand both languages (here Czech and Chinese) and consequently understand the cultural differences between the two countries (Czech Republic and China). This thesis deals with the most frequent animal names in Czech and Chinese phraseology. The aim of the thesis is to describe not only the structure and types of phrases in both languages, but especially the semantics and symbolism of the most frequently occurring animal names, to compare identical names, to explain any differences in their distribution and to capture their absence in each of the two languages.
