Bakalářská práce se věnuje využití rekvalifikací na úřadech práce, čímž by měla být zvýšena uplatnitelnost uchazečů a zájemců o zaměstnání na trhu práce. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na teoretické vymezení této problematiky, včetně souvisejících témat. Prvním hlavním cílem výzkumu je zmapování názorů uchazečů a zájemců o zaměstnání evidovaných na Úřadu práce ve Strakonicích na uplatnitelnost příjemců rekvalifikace na trhu práce.. K testování hypotéz a primárnímu sběru dat je použito kvantitativního šetření, metoda dotazování, technika dotazník. Pro potřeby výzkumu byly stanoveny dvě hypotézy: Hypotéza 1: Příjemci rekvalifikace hodnotí rekvalifikaci jako méně účelnou než uchazeči a zájemci o zaměstnání, kteří tuto službu zatím nevyužívali. Hypotéza 2: Uchazeči a zájemci o zaměstnání shledávají jako dostupnější nespecifickou rekvalifikaci než rekvalifikaci specifickou. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplynulo, že hypotéza 2 se potvrdila, zatímco hypotéza 1 potvrzena nebyla. Druhým hlavním cílem je zmapovat názory poradců na úřadech práce na využití rekvalifikací. Výzkum byl doplněn kvalitativním šetřením, při kterém byla použita metoda dotazování, technika polořízený rozhovor. Rozhovory byly vedeny s odbornými pracovníky na úřadech práce, které se rekvalifikacemi zabývají. Bylo zjišťováno, jakým způsobem jsou rekvalifikace prováděny a jaký mají názor na jejich význam. Rozhovory byly prováděny face to face. Z kvalitativního šetření vzešla hypotéza. Hypotéza 3: Zaměstnankyně úřadu práce hodnotí rekvalifikaci pozitivně nejen proto, že příjemci získávají nové znalosti a dovednosti, ale i proto že podpoří jejich psychiku, která je při hledání zaměstnání také velice důležitá. The graduation essay deals with the use of requalification courses in employment bureaus; such courses rank among tools increasing the chances of job applicants to assert themselves in the labour market. The introductory section of the essay focuses on the theoretical definition of this issue, including related topics. The first main purpose of the research was to map out the opinions of job applicants registered with the employment bureau in Strakonice regarding the situation of re-qualified people in the labour market. Quantitative investigation, the inquiry method, the questionnaire technique was employed to test hypotheses and to collect primary data. Two hypotheses were determined for the research: Hypothesis 1: Attendants of requalification courses consider requalification less efficient than applicants who have not taken advantage of this service yet. Hypothesis 2: Job applicants find non-specific requalification more accessible than specific requalification. Research results showed that hypothesis 2 was confirmed, while hypothesis 1 was not confirmed. The second main purpose of the work was to map out opinions of consultants in labour bureaus regarding the utilization of requalification courses. The research was complemented with qualitative investigation in which the inquiry method, the semi-controlled interview technique was applied. Interviews were conducted with professionals from employment bureaus that deal with requalification. The purpose of the interviews was to find out how requalification is implemented and what those professionals think of its importance. Interviews were conducted face to face. The following conclusion was made based on the qualitative inquiry: Consultants in the employment bureau appreciate requalification not only because re-qualified people gain new knowledge and skills, but also because such courses enhance their self-esteem which is so important in the process of searching for a job.
