Tato práce se zabývá přístupem zdravotníků k rodičkám v rámci porodní a poporodní péče. Cílem této práce je popsat zkušenosti respondentek kvalitativních rozhovorů s přístupem zdravotníků v rámci porodní a poporodní péče, identifikovat co z jejich zkušenosti s přístupem zdravotníků pro respondentky stěžejní a prozkoumat jaký vliv na ženy má aplikovaný přístup zdravotníků. Výchozími koncepty této práce jsou modely paternalistického a partnerského vztahu mezi lékařem a pacientem a koncept péče orientované na člověka. Hlavním zjištěním výzkumu je, že dotazované ženy, které zažily spíše paternalistický přístup ze strany poskytovatelů péče, byly ve většině případů těmi, které tvrdily, že jsou se svou zkušeností nespokojené, a uvedly že by v případě dalšího porodu ve stejné nemocnici rodit nechtěly. Naopak ženy, které zažily spíše partnerský přístup, označily svůj zážitek za příjemný a uvedly, že by rády rodily znovu ve stejné nemocnici. Výzkum identifikoval šest klíčových témat, která dotazované ženy označily za zásadní v přístupu poskytovatelů péče. Těmito tématy jsou rutina, soukromí, informace, fyzická integrita, způsob komunikace a míra empatie. Kromě hlavních zjištění výzkum také poukázal na to, že může vzniknout konflikt mezi paternalistickým a partnerským přístupem zdravotníků. To se prokázalo... This thesis focuses on the approach of obstetric and postnatal care providers towards women in the Czech Republic. To identify what experiences the mothers deemed essential and to explore the impact of physicians' approach towards them, qualitative research based on semi-structured interviews was conducted. Those interviews were later analyzed using mainly the sociological framework originating from Talcott Parson's role-based theory of the doctor-patient relationship, namely the paternalistic and partnership models of the doctor-patient relationship and the concept of person-oriented care. The main findings of the research are that interviewed women who experienced rather paternalistic model tend to imply overall dissatisfaction with the obstetric and postnatal care, meanwhile those women who experienced rather partnership model described their experiences as rather pleasant and stated they would choose the same hospital for labor again. The research identified six key topics, that interviewed women referred to as crucial for them in care providers' approach. These topics are routine, privacy, information, physical integrity, method of communication, and degree of empathy.
