Východiska: Aplikační místnosti jsou službou, ve které mohou klienti užívat nelegální návykové látky pod dozorem vyškoleného personálu. V některých zemích jsou aplikační místnosti provozovány již přes 30 let a různé studie poskytují pozitivní výsledky, které nás obeznamují s výhodami, které zařízení s aplikačními místnostmi poskytují. Tato práce však nemá za cíl zaměřit se na již potvrzené, ale na konkrétní zkušenosti a potřeby jedinců, kteří jsou s tímto typem zařízení v témeř dennodenním kontaktu. Výzkum byl učiněn v kontaktním centru s aplikační místností Birkenstube v Berlíně. Toto zařízení je v provozu od začátku roku 2004 a je tak jedním z prvních center s aplikační místností ve městě Berlín. I přes svou dlouhou působnost, tradici a neustále měnící se potřeby jeho klientely, byla samotná činnost tohoto zařízení evaluována naposledy v roce 2015. Cíle: Cílem této práce je nahlédnout a analyzovat potřeby klientů a klientek, kteří využívají služeb kontaktního centra s aplikační místností Birkenstube v Berlíně. Pomocí rozhovorů s vybranými respondenty následně zjistit, zda je klientům poskytováno to, co opravdu od služby potřebují, či zda by bylo vhodné zaměřit se na zlepšení poskytovaných služeb, dle potřeb jejich uživatelů. Background: Drug consumption rooms are a service where clients can consume illegal addictive substances under the supervision of trained staff. In some countries, drug consumption rooms have been in operation for over 30 years, and various studies provide positive results that acquaint us with the benefits that drug consumption rooms provide. However, this master thesis does not aim to focus on the already confirmed, but on the specific experiences and needs of individuals who are in almost daily contact with this type of service. The research was done in a low-threshold facility with a drug consumption room in Berlin named Birkenstube. This facility has been in operation since the beginning of 2004 and is thus one of the first facilities with a drug consumption room in the city of Berlin. Despite its long history, tradition and constantly changing needs of its clientele, the activity of this facility was last evaluated in the year 2015.
