Vnitrobuněčný pohyb makromolekul, jako jsou proteiny a RNA, je zásadní pro udržování buněčné homeostázy a koordinaci různých buněčných procesů. V eukaryotních buňkách je transport těchto molekul mezi cytoplazmou a jádrem pečlivě regulován. Jaderné transportní signály (NTS) sehrávají klíčovou roli při usnadňování importu a exportu proteinů přes jadernou obálku. Komplex ARP2/3, který je důležitým regulátorem dynamiky aktinu, byl především studován pro své funkce v cytoplazmě, jako je pohyb buněk a buněčné dělení. Nicméně nové poznatky naznačují, že komplex ARP2/3 by mohl mít také jaderné funkce v rostlinách. Rostliny jsou unikátní mnohobuněčné organismy, které se spoléhají na přesně koordinované buněčné aktivity pro růst, vývoj a reakce na environmentální podněty. Porozumění molekulárním mechanismům, které stojí za jadernými procesy v rostlinách, se stalo v poslední době předmětem výzkumu. Komplex ARP2/3, který se skládá ze sedmi podjednotek, je známý pro svou schopnost větvit aktinové filamenty a tím řídit buněčné procesy vyžadující remodelaci aktinu. Nicméně nedávné studie odhalily potenciální spojení mezi komplexem ARP2/3 a jadernými funkcemi v rostlinách. U několika proteinů spojených s komplexem ARP2/3 bylo zjištěno, že se lokalizují uvnitř rostlinného jádra, což vyvolává zajímavé otázky ohledně... The intracellular movement of macromolecules such as proteins and RNA is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and coordinating various cellular processes. In eukaryotic cells, the transport of these molecules between the cytoplasm and the nucleus is carefully regulated. Nuclear transport signals (NTS) play a key role in facilitating the import and export of proteins across the nuclear envelope. The ARP2/3 complex, which is an important regulator of activity dynamics, has been studied mainly for its functions in the cytoplasm, such as cell movement and cell division. However, new findings suggest that the ARP2/3 complex might also have nuclear functions in plants. Plants are unique multicellular organisms that rely on precisely coordinated cellular activities for growth, development, and response to stimuli. Understanding the molecular mechanisms behind nuclear processes in plants has recently become a focus of research. The ARP2/3 complex, which consists of seven subunits, is known for its ability to branch actin filaments and thereby control cellular processes requiring actin remodeling.
