Práce se zabývá pěti postupně vznikajícími verzemi románu Ladislava Grosmana Z pekla štěstí, které vznikaly v letech 1979 až 1980: Hranice, Jak jsem byl propašován do Maďarska, třetí verze bez názvu, Nejmenší uprchlík světa a Z pekla štěstí. Na základě odborné literatury Oldřicha Králíka, Miroslava Červenky a Milana Jankoviče věnované studiu verzí a variant bude tato práce konfrontovat jednotlivé texty po stránce jazyka a stylu, tématu, postupných proměn vybraných postav, kompozice a rozsahu jednotlivých verzí a narace. Cílem bude interpretace tohoto dosud málo známého románu v kontextu naivního dětského vypravěče a literatury s tematikou šoa odehrávající se na Slovensku. Předmětem této práce bude i sledování proměn vypravěče a jeho předčasné dospění na základě násilně ukončeného dětství. Zaměříme se také na výrazné motivy, které toto dílo prostupují (např. strach, smrt, láska, vina) a zmíníme se i o prvcích humoru, které jsou v románu přítomné. The thesis deals with five successively emerging versions of Ladislav Grosman's novel Lucky as Hell (Z pekla štěstí), which were created between 1979 and 1980: Border (Hranice), How I was smuggled into Hungary (Jak jsem byl propašován do Maďarska), the third untitled version, The smallest refugee in the world (Nejmenší uprchlík světa) and Lucky as Hell (Z pekla štěstí). Based on the professional literature of Oldřich Králík, Miroslav Červenka and Milan Jankovič dedicated to the study of versions and variants, this work will confront individual texts in terms of language and style, theme, gradual changes of selected characters, composition and scope of individual versions and narration. The goal will be the interpretation of this hitherto little-known novel in the context of a naive child narrator and Shoah-themed literature taking place in Slovakia. The subject of this work will also be the monitoring of the changes of the narrator and his premature coming of age on the basis of a violently terminated childhood. We will also focus on prominent motifs that pervade this work (e.g. fear, death, love, guilt) and we will also mention the elements of humor that are present in the novel.
