V bakalářské práci se snažím nahlédnout do problematiky amputací dolních končetin. Amputace je rozsáhlý chirurgický výkon, při kterém dochází k perifernímu odstranění části těla. Za cíle jsem si zvolila v teoretické části seznámit širokou veřejnost s problematikou návratu pacientů po amputaci dolní končetiny do běžného života, a v praktické části snažit se tento návrat usnadnit pomocí komplexního a multidisciplinárního přístupu k jedinci. Výzkum byl prováděn kvalitativním způsobem pomocí kazuistik, a to na dvou probandech mužského pohlaví, u nichž byla provedena amputace pravé dolní končetiny ve stehně. Tito dva probandi jsou podobného věku, se stejným typem amputace. První pacient byl hospitalizován v Nemocnici sv. Zdislavy s.r.o., Mostiště, kde jsem se věnovala časné pooperační fyzioterapii. S druhým pacientem byl výzkum prováděn v Hamzově odborné léčebně pro děti a dospělé, Luže {--} Košumberk, kde jsem se zaměřila na fyzioterapeutické postupy vhodné v protetické fázi rehabilitace. Vybrala jsem si tyto dva probandy také proto, abych mohla ukázat, že není důležitá pouze časná pooperační rehabilitace, ale také její protetická část s následným pokračováním doporučené autoterapie. U obou pacientů došlo k velkému zlepšení po fyzické i psychické stránce, k čemuž nepochybně přispěl komplexní a multidisciplinární přístup v průběhu celé jejich péče. V sebeobslužných činnostech jsou pacienti téměř soběstační, což je velmi důležité v otázce jejich návratu do běžného života. Tato práce může být dále využita v klinické praxi fyzioterapeutů a ostatních zdravotnických pracovníků. Také může sloužit jako edukační materiál pro pacienty. My bachelor thesis seeks to provide an insight into the issues associated with amputation of lower extremities. Amputation is an extensive surgical intervention which removes peripheral parts of the body. The objective of the theoretical part of my thesis was to present to the general public the issues associated with the return of patients after the amputation of a lower limb back to the normal life and the objective of the practical part was to make the return easier by means of a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the patient. The research was performed using a qualitative method, by means of case studies of two male probands who underwent an amputation of the right lower limb at the thigh. The two probands were of similar age and with the same type of amputation. The first patient was hospitalized in the hospital Nemocnice sv. Zdislavy s.r.o., Mostiště, where I was involved in early postsurgery physiotherapy. The second patient was in the therapeutic center (Hamzova odborná léčebna pro děti a dospělé), in Luže {--} Košumberk, where I concentrated on physiotherapeutic procedures suitable for a prosthetic stage of rehabilitation. I selected the two probands also in order to demonstrate that it is important not only to provide early postsurgery rehabilitation but also rehabilitation in the prosthetic stage with a subsequent continuation of autotherapy. Both the patients experienced a major improvement of their physical and mental condition; this was undoubtedly supported by the comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach throughout the entire period of the provided care. In terms of taking care of themselves, the patients are now nearly self-sufficient, which is very important for their return back to the regular life. The thesis may be further used in clinical practice of physiotherapists and medical personnel. It may also serve as an educational material for patients.
