Abstract: The research of influence of meadow management on observed ground beetle species (Carabidae) was realised in Babiččino valley near Česká Skalice. Fauna and flora of the local meadows were negatively affected by intensive farming not respecting the reservation status. Therefore, the new type of meadow management was established and I investigated its effect.
