Předcházení vzniku odpadu je podle hierarchie nakládání s odpady nejlepším přístupem, ale existují činnosti, které se produkci odpadu nevyhnou. Mezi takové činnosti patří stavební činnosti, zejména demolice a terénní úpravy. Pokud vznikne odpad, je žádoucí jeho recyklace. Recyklační zařízení by měla být prospěšná pro životní prostředí, a měla by proto splňovat vysoké environmentální standardy. Pro tento účel jsou široce používány BAT (Best Available Techniques). Příspěvek shrnuje možnosti použití BAT pro recyklaci stavebních a demoličních odpadů. Waste prevention is the best approach according to the waste hierarchy, but there are activities which can‘t avoid waste production. Such activities include construction activities, in particular demolition and landscaping. If waste is generated, its recycling is desirable. Recycling installations should be beneficial to the environment and should therefore meet high environmental standards. For this purpose are BAT (Best Available Techniques) widely used. The paper summarizes the possibilities of using BAT for recycling construction and demolition waste.
