Abstract: In the first part of BA thesis is elaborated literary overview of the main factors affecting the fish stock in terms of morphology, hydrology, water chemistry, physical factors and geography.Influence of individual factor on the fish communities in reservoirs is assessed independently of the other factors. In the second part of this work I compare the species composition obtained from each reservoirs with 18 characteristics of the environment and try to trace the basic patterns
