Těhotenství je v současné době vysoce monitorovaným stavem, a i v důsledku výrazného diskurzu zdravého životního stylu jsou kladeny určité nároky na stravování těhotné ženy. Nicméně se k tématu vyjadřují i všeobecně kolující kulturně rámované rady a očekávání, které často protiřečí lékařské obci. Touto prací, pro kterou je mou hlavní otázkou jak vnímání těla a plodu ovlivňuje stravování ženy v těhotenství, jsem si kladla za cíl tuto diskuzi obohatit o pohled těhotných žen a o to, jaké vnímají potřeby a chutě svého těla a plodu a jak se doopravdy v těhotenství stravují. V této otázce jsem vycházela z autorů jako jsou Merleau-Ponty, Young či Bourdieu a provedla jsem 15 polostrukturovaných rozhovorů doplněných o 5 deníků vedených v průběhu těhotenství. Z mého výzkumu vyplývá, že těhotné ženy vnímají své tělo i plod jako samostatné aktéry, které ovlivňují jejich stravování, neboť prostřednictvím chutí, nevolností či pohybů vnímají komunikované potřeby těla a plodu, které v chutích dokonce rozlišují od chutí iracionálních, "těhotenských". Vliv stravování a vnímání těla a plodu se nicméně ukázal být vzájemný, neboť i stravování má významný vliv na to, jak ženy vnímaly a komunikovaly se svým tělem a plodem a vnímaly individualitu plodu, čímž rozšiřuji dosavadní chápání těhotenského embodimentu, medicínské... Pregnancy is currently a highly monitored condition, and also, as a result of the strong discourse of healthy lifestyle, certain demands are placed on a pregnant woman's diet. However, the topic appears also in culturally framed advice and expectations, which often contradict the medical community's directions. With this work, for which my main question is how the perception of the body and fetus affects a woman's diet during pregnancy, I aimed to enrich this discussion with the perspective of pregnant women and their perception of the needs and tastes of their body and fetus. I base this work on authors such as Merleau-Ponty, Young and Bourdieu, and on data from 15 semi-structured interviews supplemented by 5 diaries kept during pregnancy. My research shows that pregnant women perceive their body and the fetus as actors that influence their eating, because through tastes, nausea or movement they perceive the communicated needs of the body and the fetus. The influence of eating and the perception of the body and the fetus, however, turned out to be mutual, because eating also has a significant influence on how women perceived and communicated with her body and fetus and perceived its individuality.
