Tato diplomová práce se zabývá učitelskými postoji ve výuce výslovnosti u českých středoškolských učitelů angličtiny, představuje jejich skutečnou výslovnost na základě autentických nahrávek z vyučovacích hodin a hledá průniky mezi těmito dvěma rovinami v kontextu současného výzkumu o výuce výslovnosti a české angličtiny. Teoretická část této práce uvádí problematiku výuky výslovnosti a definuje její cíle v souladu se současným výzkumem, který upřednostňuje srozumitelnost, představuje koncept učitelských postojů a zároveň shrnuje dostupné informace o zvukových vlastnostech české angličtiny. Praktická část sestává z dat o učitelských postojích, které byly získány pomocí dotazníků, a sběru materiálu formou nahrávek ze školních hodin. Ty jsou následně poslechově analyzovány z hlediska vybraných segmentálních a suprasegmentálních výslovnostních jevů; obsahem je také hledání průsečíků těchto dvou oblastí. Studie se účastnilo celkem 11 osob, z toho byly analyzovány nahrávky 10 z nich. Data ukazují, že pro učitele je výuka výslovnosti důležitá a jedním z jejích cílů je pro ně srozumitelnost žáků pro jiné mluvčí, ale málo věří ve svou kompetenci ji pojímat systematicky. Na produkci byly pro učitele nejobtížnější hlásky /ð/ a /æ/, jejich projev je spíše rotický. Kanonická forma asibilace se objevovala jen málo.... The thesis deals with teacher cognition in the pronunciation teaching of Czech secondary school English teachers, presents their actual pronunciation based on authentic recordings of classroom lessons and searches for intersections between the two domains in the context of current research on pronunciation teaching and Czech English. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the topic of pronunciation teaching and defines its goals in accordance with current research that prioritizes intelligibility, introduces the concept of teacher cognition, and summarizes what is yet known about the sound properties of Czech English. The practical part includes the assessment of teacher cognition data collected from Czech teachers from secondary schools through questionnaires and the material in the form of authentic recordings from lessons at schools. The recordings are subsequently analysed auditorily in terms of selected segmental and suprasegmental pronunciation phenomena; this part also includes a search for any intersections of these two areas. A total of 11 respondents participated in the study, however, only 10 recordings were suitable for analysis.
