Cílem práce je zmapovat a kvalitativně popsat roli manažera v péči o duševní zdraví zaměstnanců. Obsahem první kapitoly teoretické části je pojem duševní zdraví a jeho kontextuální zasazení do pracovního prostředí. Je popsána teorie JD-R a následně integrována do modelu IGLO, na základě kterého lze úrovně jednotlivce, skupiny, leadera a organizace použít jako klasifikační rámec pro pracovní nároky a zdroje. Následně je představen víceúrovňový přístup k podpoře duševního zdraví. Druhá kapitola zdůrazňuje důležitost role manažera v péči o duševní zdraví na pracovišti, popisuje na zdraví orientovaný leadership a možnosti rozvoje manažerů. Empirická část si kladla za cíl pomocí kvalitativního designu prozkoumat, jak manažeři podporují a naopak oslabují duševní zdraví na pracovišti z pohledu svých podřízených. Výzkumný vzorek je tvořen deseti ohniskovými skupinami se zaměstnanci, celkem se zúčastnilo 87 osob, zahrnuty byly dvě firmy. Data byla analyzována pomocí metody zakotvené teorie v softwaru NVivo. Tato práce je součástí evropského projektu H-WORK. Výsledky výzkumu zdůrazňují zásadní roli manažerů, kteří významně ovlivňují duševní zdraví zaměstnanců tím, že jim poskytují odpovídající podporu a zdroje, podporují pozitivní pracovní prostředí a snižují pracovní nároky a stresory. Pokud však manažeři... The aim of this thesis is to explore and qualitatively describe the role of the manager in supporting occupational health. The first chapter of the theoretical part presents the concept of mental health in the workplace. Subsequently JD-R theory is introduced and then integrated into the IGLO model, based on which the individual, group, leader and organizational levels can be used as a classification framework for job demands and resources. A multi-level approach to mental health promotion is then presented. The second chapter highlights the importance of the manager's role in supporting workplace mental health, outlines health-oriented leadership, and manager development opportunities. The aim of the empirical part was to explore, through a qualitative design, how managers promote and conversely undermine mental health in the workplace from the perspective of their subordinates. The research sample consists of ten focus groups with employees, in total 87 people participated, two companies were included. The data was analyzed using the grounded theory method in NVivo.
