Témou práce je navrhnúť a realizovať viac-fázový spínaný zdroj nízkeho napätia a vysokého prúdu slúžiaceho na opravu grafických kariet. Špecifikácia zdroja zahrňuje minimálny výstupný prúd 150A, rozsah výstupných napätí od 0,9 až 1,5V s reguláciou pomocou PWM VID alebo na konštantnú hodnotu a plne pasívne chladenie. Práca sa ďalej zaoberá metódami ochrany proti prepólovaniu a prepätiu, základným topológiám spínaných dc-dc meničov a ich návrhu spolu s výberom vhodných komponentov. Navrhovaný externý regulátor je ovládaný osem fázovým integrovaným kontrolérom, ktorý snímaním napätia a prúdu každej fázy, balansuje ich zaťaženie a poskytuje ochranu proti nadprúdu a skratu. The topic of this thesis is the design and implementation of multi-phase switching power supply of low voltage and high current which will be used for graphics card repair. Specifications of the power supply feature a minimal output current of 150A, an output voltage ranging from 0,9 up to 1,5V that is adjustable using PWM VID or set to a constant level and fully passive cooling. The thesis also covers the methods used for overcurrent and overvoltage protection followed by the basic topologies of dc-dc converters, their design and component selection. The designed external regulator is equipped with eight phase integrated controller, which senses the output voltage and current of each phase and balances them, while also providing an overcurrent and short circuit protection.
