Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou moderních vysokorychlostních datových sítí a jejich simulací v prostředí MATLAB Simulink. Teoretická část je věnována optickým sítím, vláknům, jejich vlastnostem a standardům. Dále je v práci vysvětleno téma pasivní a aktivní optické sítě včetně jejich komponentů. Laboratorní úlohy jsou věnovány simulacem přenosu pasivní optické sítě se splitterem a aktivní optické sítě se zesilovačem. The bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of modern high-speed data networks and their simulation in the MATLAB Simulink environment. The theoretical part is devoted to optical networks, fibers, their properties and standards. The thesis also explains the subject of passive and active optical networks, including their components. Laboratory tasks are devoted to the simulation of the transmission of a passive optical network with a splitter and an active optical network with an amplifier.
