Tato práce se zabývá zajímavou historií videoher se zaměřením na vývoj a evoluci herních konzolí. Teoretická část nabízí komplexní pohled na pozadí vývoje videoherních konzolí, včetně jejich vzniku, procesů vývoje her, pokroků v oblasti hardwaru a vývoje vstupních zařízení. Tato analýza poskytuje cenné poznatky o technologických a kulturních milnících, které v průběhu let formovaly herní průmysl. Praktická část ukazuje aplikaci získaných znalostí při vývoji dvou her s využitím fiktivního retro počítače TIC-80 a programovacího jazyka Lua. Tyto hry čerpají inspiraci z retro titulů a vzdávají hold nostalgickým zážitkům, které uchvátily hráče napříč generacemi. Využití platformy TIC-80 s sebou neslo jistá omezení, která mají za cíl, aby bylo zpracování věrné starším titulům a zároveň byla zajištěna kompatibilita s moderním hardwarem. This thesis delves into the captivating history of video games, with a focus on the development and evolution of video game consoles. The theoretical part offers a comprehensive examination of the background and progression of video game consoles, including their inception, game development processes, hardware advancements, and the evolution of input devices. This analysis provides valuable insights into the technological and cultural milestones that have shaped the gaming industry over the years. The practical part showcases a hands-on approach to implementing the acquired knowledge by creating two games using the TIC-80 fantasy computer and Lua programming language. Drawing inspiration from retro titles, these games pay homage to the nostalgic experiences that have captivated gamers across generations. The utilization of the TIC-80 platform involved working within defined constraints to capture the essence of the old titles, while ensuring compatibility with modern hardware.
