Zadáním diplomové práce je návrh nové městské struktury ve městě Moravský Krumlov. Řešené území se nachází v historickém jádru města a v přilehlém průmyslovém areálu pod historickým jádrem u řeky Rokytná. Řešené území bylo na konci 2. světové války z převážné části vybombardováno a postupně zde vznikala nová zástavba. Hlavní myšlenkou návrhu je naplnit potenciál historického jádra města. Návrh dotváří stávající strukturu v historickém jádru města a u řeky je navržena nová městská čtvrť s jasně definovaným veřejným a soukromým prostorem. V historické části se jedná především o dostavbu proluk, nekompaktních bloků, chybějících nároží ale zároveň zkvalitnění hlavních veřejných prostranství - náměstí. V místě stávajícího rozlehlého, nepřístupného průmyslového areálu pod historickým jádrem města je navržená nová městská čtvrť u řeky. Nová městská čtvrť u řeky má převážně obytnou funkci která je doplněná o komplex administrativních budov. Hlavním motivem návrhu je zahušťování struktury historického jádra a vybudování nové městské čtvrti v lukrativní části města za účelem eliminace nově vznikajících vymezených ploch na okraji města a rozšiřování města do krajiny. Keywords: a new urban quarter by the river is proposed. The new riverside district has a predominantly residential function which is complemented by a complex of office buildings. The main motive of the proposal is to thicken the structure of the historic core and to build a new urban district in a lucrative part of the city in order to eliminate the newly emerging defined areas on the outskirts of the city and the expansion of the city into the countryside.; inaccessible industrial area below the historic core of the town; missing corners but at the same time improving the main public spaces - squares. In place of the existing large; non-compact blocks; the area was mostly bombed out and new buildings were gradually built here. The main idea of the design is to fulfil the potential of the historic core of the town. The proposal completes the existing structure in the historic core of the city and a new urban district with clearly defined public and private spaces is proposed by the river. In the historic part it is mainly about completing the gaps; The task of the thesis is to design a new urban structure in Moravský Krumlov. The area is located in the historical centre of the town and in the adjacent industrial area below the historical centre by the Rokytná River.
