This bachelor's thesis deals with the possible improvement of applications that use augmented reality. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the light field technology of the Lume Pad tablet provides better navigation and manipulation with objects in augmented reality. To fulfill the goal of the bachelor thesis, a thorough study of augmented reality, light field technology, the Unity game engine and the Lume Pad tablet is necessary. Based on the studied information, an application is implemented in the Unity game engine, which combines augmented reality and light field technology. The app contains tests that point to possible improvements. The tests focus on navigation and manipulation with objects in augmented reality. Using a sample of users, the final application is tested and based on the results of testing, a conclusion is drawn.
