Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou útlumu v optických vláken a následné měření transmisní metodou. Teoretický rozbor se zabývá samotnými optickými vlákny a jejich přenosových vlastností s důrazem na rozptyl a na normy. Prvotní myšlenou praktické části byla realizace s fotodetektorem. Z důvodu malého výkonu fotodetektoru se praktická část zaměřuje na demonstraci měření útlumu pomocí měřících přístrojů, které jsou běžně v praxi používaný. V laboratořích jsou použity k demonstraci optická vlákna o délce několika desítek kilometrů. Laboratorní úloha pomůže studentům si osvojit základní jednotky útlumu a získají pojem o měření v praxi. The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of attenuation in optical fibers and subsequent measurement using the transmission method. The theoretical analysis deals with the optical fibers themselves and their transmission properties with an emphasis on dispersion and standards. The original idea of the practical part was the implementation with a photodetector. Due to the small power of the photodetector, the practical part focuses on the demonstration of attenuation measurement using measuring devices that are commonly used in practice. In the laboratories, optical fibers with a length of several tens of kilometers are used for demonstration. The laboratory task will help students to master the basic units of attenuation and gain an understanding of measurement in practice.
