Má práce se zaměřuje na motivy studentů k záškoláctví, které Salavcová (2017) vysvětluje jako neomluvenou absenci žáka základní či střední školy z vyučování. Tento fenomén Kyriacou (2004) považuje za klíčový pro možnost indikace správné funkce vzdělávacího systému. Jádrem teoretické části jsou příčiny tohoto patologického jevu, které Thambirajah a kol. (2008) kategorizuje jako příčiny na straně žáka, na straně rodiny, na straně vrstevníků, na straně školy a případy, kdy se student dostane do těžké životní situace. Nejčastější příčiny Čapek (2014) vidí ve strachu z písemných testů, nezájmu o školu, šikaně. Toto členění příčin jsem využila i následně v praktické části, která byla realizována jako kvalitativní výzkum formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se sedmi studenty vybraného gymnázia, výchovnou poradkyní a metodičkou prevence. V analýze rozhovorů jsem se zaměřila především na motivaci probandů k záškoláctví a na faktory, které jejich záškoláctví ukončily. Výsledkem studie je rozšířený model příčin záškoláctví, které se téměř shodují se zmíněnými nejčastějšími faktory Čapka (2014), až na faktor šikany. V mém případě šlo konkrétně o slabou vůli, převahu jiných zájmů v době adolescence, experimentování především s návykovými látkami, špatné vztahy žáků s učiteli nebo pocit nezajímavé či nedůležité hodiny.... My work focuses on students' motives for truancy, which Salavcová (2017) explains as the unexcused absence of a primary or secondary school student from class. Kyriacou (2004) considers this phenomenon as crucial due to the possibility of indicating the proper functioning of the educational system. At the core of the theoretical part are the causes of this pathological phenomenon, which Thambirajah a col. (2008) categorizes into several categories such as those on the side of the student, on the side of the family, on the side of the peers, on the side of the school and cases where the student is in a difficult life situation. Čapek (2014) sees the most common causes in fear of written tests, disinterest in school, bullying. I used this breakdown of causes in the subsequent practical part, which was conducted as qualitative research in the form of a semi-structured interview with seven students from a selected high school, an educational counsellor and a prevention methodologist. In the analysis of the interviews, I focused mainly on the probands' motivation for truancy and the factors that ended their truancy. The study resulted in an extended model of the causes of truancy that almost matched the most common factors mentioned by Čapek (2014), except for the factor of bullying. In my case, these were...
