Tématem bakalářské práce je Role otce dítěte se zdravotním postižením v kontextu současné rodiny. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy týkající se otcovství, role otce a otec dítěte se zdravotním postižením. Dále jsou vymezeny jednotlivé druhy zdravotního postižení, rodina s dítětem se zdravotním postižením a její reakce na tíživou situaci zjištění zdravotního postižení dítěte. V praktické části bakalářské práce jsou zpracovány a vyhodnoceny výsledky, které byly získány prostřednictvím výzkumného šetření. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak je vnímána role otce dítěte se zdravotním postižením. Dílčími cíli je zjistit, jak je naplňována role otce dítěte se zdravotním postižením a jak je role otce vnímána z pohledu jedince se zdravotním postižením. K naplnění stanovených cílů byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, metoda dotazování a technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Komunikační partneři byli pro výzkumné rozhovory vybráni na základě předem stanovených kritérií. K dosažení výsledků byly stanoveny tři výzkumné otázky: Jak je vnímána role otce dítěte se zdravotním postižením? Jak je naplňována role otce dítěte se zdravotním postižením? Jak je vnímána role otce z pohledu jedince se zdravotním postižením? Z výsledků šetření je patrné, že otcové i jedinci se zdravotním postižením vnímají důležitost role a přítomnost otce v rodině. Dále je patrné, že pro otce je zapojení do péče o své zdravotně postižené dítě zásadní. Bakalářské práce může přispět jako metodická pomůcka pro sociální pracovníky v práci s osobami se zdravotním postižním a rodinou s dítětem se zdravotním postižením. Také může být přínosem pro širší veřejnost, otce a rodiny, které zasáhla tato tíživá situace v souvislosti s narozením dítěte se zdravotním postižením. The topic of the bachelor thesis is The role of the father of a child with disabilities in the context of the currnet family. The theoretical part defines the concepts related to fatherhood, the role of the father and the father of a child with disabilities. It also defines the different types of disability, the family with a child with disabilities and its response to the plight of the discovery of the child's disability. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the results obtained through the research investigation are elaborated and evaluated. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out how the role of the father of a disabled child is perceived. The sub-objectives are to find out how the role of the father of a child with a disability is fulfilled and how the role of the father is perceived from the perspective of the individual with a disability. A qualitative research strategy, a survey method and a semi-structured interview technique were used to meet the objectives. The communication partners were selected for the research interviews based on predetermined criteria. To achieve the results, three research questions were set: How is the role of the father of a child with disabilities perceived? How is the role of the father of a child with a disability fulfilled? How is the role of the father perceived from the perspective of the individual with a disability? The results of the survey indicate that both fathers and individuals with disabilities perceive the importance of the father's role and presence in the family. It is also evident that the father's involvement in the care of his disabled child is essential. The bachelor thesis can contribute as a methodological tool for social workers in their work with persons with disabilities and families with a child with disabilities. It can also be of benefit to the wider public, fathers and families affected by this difficult situation in relation to the birth of a child with a disability.
