Má práce má přiblížit čtenáři problematiku trestu smrti a ukázat jak byl nebo je vnímán napříč politickým, náboženským, etickým a historickým spektrem. Cílem této práce je představit trest smrti jako antropologický problém, který je komplexní a nelze jej redukovat pouze na jeho určité aspekty, například právní nebo historické. My work aims to introduce the reader to the issue of the death penalty and to show how it was or is perceived across the political, religious, ethical and historical spectrum. The aim of this work is to present the death penalty as an anthropological problem, which is complex and cannot be reduced only to its certain aspects, such as legal or historical.
