Cílem této práce je navrhnout nový wellness hotel ve Strakonicích, který v destinaci přispěje k rozvoji cestovního ruchu. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení, specifikům a trendům wellness cestovního ruchu a poskytuje východiska pro výzkumnou část. Ta analyzuje destinaci za použití dat z dlouhodobého pozorování a řízeného rozhovoru, na základě kritérií stanovených odbornými zdroji. Jsou tak identifikovány atraktivity i nedostatky destinace. Prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření jsou získána data o motivacích, potřebách a požadavcích wellness turistů, z nichž jsou pomocí deskriptivní analýzy identifikovány preference a spotřebitelské chování. Na základě těchto zjištění je vytvořen finální návrh wellness hotelu, který má podobu marketingového plánu. Tento návrh reflektuje poznatky z teoretické i výzkumné části práce a představuje tak jednu z možností rozvoje cestovního ruchu ve Strakonicích. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to project a new wellness hotel in Strakonice, which would contribute to the development of tourism in the destination. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition, specifics and trends of wellness tourism and provides basis for the research part. The research part analyses the destination using data from long-term observation and guided interview, based on criteria established by expert sources. Thus, the attractions and shortcomings of the destination are identified. Data about motivations, needs and requirements of wellness tourists are obtained through a questionnaire survey. Using a descriptive analysis, the preferences and consumer behavior are identified. Based on these findings, the final wellness hotel draft is created, in form of a marketing plan. The draft reflects findings from the theoretical and research part of the thesis and thus it represents one of the possibilities for the development of tourism in Strakonice.
