Bakalárska práca je zameraná na problematiku trhov, trhových miest a trhovísk v rámci mesta. V prvej časti sa venuje ich všeobecným charakteristikám, prínosom, vzťahu k verejným priestorom, a predostiera možnosti, ktoré trhy poskytujú záhradne krajinárskemu architektovi. V druhej časti na zvolenom území overuje tieto všeobecné tézy. Modelové územie predstavuje existujúce trhovisko, fungujúce z hľadiska sociálnych väzieb, avšak s vizuálnym prejavom neadekvátnym pre hlavné mesto Slovenskej republiky. Územie je v práci najprv dôkladne analyzované. Na základe analýz je vypracovaný návrh, ktorý sa zároveň snaží korešpondovať s víziou mesta Bratislava, týkajúcou sa trhov a trhovísk, ktorá vznikla v roku 2014 v medzinárodnom projekte Central markets. The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to examine the topic of markets, marketplaces, as well as market squares in the bounds of an urban structure. The first part of the thesis identifies the charakteristics and benefits of the markets, its relationship to the public areas and possibilities, which they offer to a landscape architect in generall. In the second part are these theoretic propositions verified on a chosen area. For the model territory has been chosen an existing marketplace. Territory offers an example of a place well functiong in the field of social relationships, however in an inadequate visual display in the context of the capital city of Slovak republik. Territory has been in the first place carefully analyzed. Using the data from analysis, an architectural study was proposed. Study also aims to meet the vision of Bratislava relating to markets and marketplaces, which originated in the internation project called Central markets in 2014.
