Bakalářská práce s názvem Recklinghausenova choroba a sociální dopad na osoby s tímto onemocněním se zabývá problematikou této chronické nemoci a změnou kvality života jedinců trpících tímto onemocněním. Teoretická část práce popisuje etiopatogenezi, klinické příznaky, diagnostická kritéria, průběh, terapii i prognózu onemocnění. Recklinghausenova choroba patří mezi neurofibromatózy. Jedná se o geneticky heterogenní onemocnění s autosomálně dominantní dědičností. Patří do skupiny neurokutánních syndromů, které v klinické manifestaci spojuje neurologická a kožní symptomatologie. Společnými klinickými projevy Recklinghausenovy choroby jsou kožní pigmentové skvrny barvy bílé kávy( café-au-lait), mnohočetné kožní a podkožní neurofibromy, hyperpigmentové skvrny, gliomy optického nervu či charakteristické kostní změny. Pro vypracování výzkumné části bylo použito kvalitativního výzkumu, metoda dotazování, technika polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Jeden rozhovor byl veden s matkami 10-ti dětí sledovaných pro podezření nebo onemocnění Recklinghausenovou chorobou. Druhý rozhovor byl veden se 3-mi vybranými klienty s Recklinghausenovou chorobou. Pro způsob zjišťování kvality života bylo použito metody SEIQoL. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaký sociální dopad má onemocnění na jedince a na jeho nejbližší rodinu. Výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že sociální dopad onemocnění Recklinghausenovou chorobou je závažný a plně srovnatelný s jakoukoliv jinou závažnou chronickou chorobou. Onemocnění může do jisté míry postupně snížit pacientovu sebeúctu a ovlivnit tak i kvalitu jeho života. Z výsledků šetření metodou SEIQoL vyplynulo, že za nejdůležitější podnět k životu považují respondenti obou skupin zdraví a míra spokojenosti každého individuálního jedince má úzký vztah k jeho osobnímu pojetí kvality života. The bachelor thesis titled Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease and social impact on subjects suffering from it deals with the issues relating to this chronic disease and the change in quality of life in subjects suffering from it. The theoretical part explains etiopathogenesis, clinical symptoms, diagnostic criteria, course of the disease, treatment, and disorder prognosis. Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease is neurofibromatosis type. It is a genetic heterogenous disease with autosomal dominant inheritance. It falls into a group of neurocutaneous syndromes, which are clinically manifested in common neurological and dermatological symptomatologies. Common clinical symptoms of Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease are café-au-lait macules, multiple cutaneous and subcutaneous neurofibromas, hyperpigmented patches, optic gliomas, or typical bone changes. The research part is based on a qualitative survey carried out by the method of questioning, and the technique of half-structured interviews. One interview involved mothers of a total of 10 children who had or were under suspicion of having Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease. The second interview involved three selected patients with Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease. The quality of life was assessed through SEIQoL method. The target of the thesis was to determine the social impact of the disease on a subject and his/her closest family. The survey showed that the impact is, when there is a person suffering from Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease, significant and utterly comparable with those observed in other chronic disorders. The disease may have, to a certain extent, a gradual negative impact on a patient{\crq}s self-respect and change the quality of his/her life. The outcome of SEIQoL assessment implies that respondents in both groups consider health to be the most important stimulus to live; and the degree of satisfaction in each subject has a close relation to his/her personal concept of quality of life.
