Tato disertační práce je postavena na třech případových studiích vybraných rodin původních romských obyvatel Česka, které byly zasaženy holokaustem Romů, a přispívá k detekování eticky citlivých aspektů na pozadí koexistence Romů s neromským prostředím v českých zemích a současně k zachycení rizik s tímto výzkumem spojených. Jako hlavní nástroj promýšlení je koncept lidské důstojnosti. Práce sleduje následující dva hlavní cíle. Za prvé, prostřednictvím historicko-genealogického bádání projekt vyústil v rekonstrukci historií těchto rodin od jejich příchodu na území Moravy, přes proces jejich usazení se a postupné proměny jejich způsobu života zejména v meziválečném období. Výzkum mapuje lehce i poválečné období. Navzdory jejich postupnému zapojení se do života společnosti je patrná kontinuita v nahlížení na tyto rodiny z pohledu lokálních i centrálních úřadů dále jako na "cikány" - s jejich druhořadým postavením. Ústředním obdobím, které je zpracováno nejdetailněji, je 2. světová válka: práce se zaměřuje na dopad holokaustu Romů na tyto tři rodiny a následně je mapována snaha přeživších se s válečnými traumaty vyrovnat. Ústředním konceptem, kterým jsou případové studie nahlíženy, je lidská důstojnost. Cílem práce je jednak dokumentovat, jak kontinuální a opakované upírání lidské důstojnosti (s... This dissertation is based on three case studies of selected families of the original Romani inhabitants of the Czech Republic who were affected by the Roma Holocaust. It contributes to the detection of ethically sensitive aspects in the background of the coexistence of Roma with non-Roma environments in the Czech lands and at the same time to capture the risks associated with this research. The main tool of thinking is the concept of human dignity. The work pursues the two following main goals. Firstly, through historical-genealogical research, the project resulted in the reconstruction of the history of these families since their arrival in the territory of Moravia, through the process of their settlement and the gradual transformation of their ways of life, especially in the interwar period. The research easily maps the post-war period as well. Despite their gradual involvement in the life of society, there is a visible continuity in viewing these families from the point of view of local and central authorities as "gypsies" - their secondary status. The central period, which is more elaborately discussed, is the Second World War, the work is focused on the impact of the Roma Holocaust on these three families, and subsequently the efforts of the survivors to cope with the war traumas are mapped....
