Diplomová práce se zabývá pomístními a místními jmény v krajině jakožto součásti paměti krajiny. Krajina se skládá z mnoha vrstev, jednou z nich je i vrstva symbolická. Tu tvoří i toponyma, která dokáží nejen ovlivnit, jak konkrétní krajinu vnímáme, ale zároveň jsou nositeli mnoha různorodých informací o krajině nebo o dobách dávno minulých. Cílem této práce je analyzovat pomístní a místní jména v krajině Jičína a jeho blízkého okolí na starých mapách a získat informace o tom, jak se vyvíjí krajinná jména na mapách v uplynulém čtvrt tisíciletí. V této práci se dozvíme, jaká jména jsou stabilní kostrou jičínské krajiny a zdali jsou jména konstantní, nebo se naopak mění a do jaké míry můžeme zaznamenat jejich úbytek. Diploma thesis is focusing on local place names and minor place names in the landscape as part of landscape memory. The landscape consists of many layers, one of which is also symbolic layer. This layer is also created by toponyms, they have the power to affect us in how we perceive the landscape, and also carry valuable information about culture and history. The aim of this thesis is to analyse place names and minor place names in historical maps of Jičín and the surrounding area. This thesis will try to determine which local place names are steady parts of the Jičín landscape, if and how place names change thorough time, and whether there can be registered a disappearance of minor place names and local place names.
