Městské cyklotrasy: příklad pražské cyklotrasy A2 Zbraslav-centrum Abstrakt Cyklistika představuje ekologickou formu dopravy, poskytující řadu výhod, zejména v městských aglomeracích. Ve srovnání s ostatními středoevropskými velkoměsty je cyklistická doprava v Praze relativně nedostatečně využívána. Důvodem je zejména existence různých překážek a také negativní prolínání cyklistické dopravy s ostatními formami dopravy. Cílem této práce je poukázat na současný stav pražských cyklotras obecně s podrobnějším popisem vymezeného úseku cyklotrasy A2 Vltavská. Jejím srovnáním s cyklotrasami v Bernu a Krakově jsou naznačeny její nedostatky a potenciální možnosti jejího rozvoje a pražské cyklistické dopravy obecně. Dále práce poskytuje nové informace, získané během rozhovorů s odborníky na pražskou cyklistickou dopravu a poskytující detailnější rozbor nedostatků A2 Vltavská a její stávající využití mladými lidmi. Práce by tak mohla přispět do diskuze o lepším využití cyklistické dopravy v Praze a mohla by sloužit jako zdroj informací a inspirace pro ostatní. Urban cycle routes: the example of the Prague cycle route Zbraslav-centrum Abstract Cycling is an environmentally friendly form of transport that offers many benefits, especially in urban areas. Compared to other Central European cities, cycling is relatively underused in Prague. This is mainly due to the existence of various barriers and also to the negative mixing of cycling with other forms of transport. The aim of this paper is to highlight the current state of Prague's cycle routes in general with a more detailed description of the defined section of the A2 Vltavská cycle route. By comparing it with the cycle routes in Bern and Krakow, its shortcomings and potential opportunities for its development and Prague's cycling in general are indicated. Furthermore, the thesis provides new information, gathered during interviews with experts on Prague cycle transport, providing a more detailed analysis of the shortcomings of A2 Vltavská and its current use by young people. The thesis could thus contribute to the discussion on better use of cycling in Prague and could serve as a source of information and inspiration for others.
