Cílem této diplomové práce je představit specifika spojená s audiovizuálním překladem, a sice s titulkováním pohádek. Tato specifika se projevují jak ve vztahu k cílovému divákovi, tak v národní tradici spojené s konkrétní pohádkou. Následně jsou jejich projevy zkoumány v konfrontační analýze, v níž se hodnotí, jak zdařile se podařilo převést do cizího jazyka místa silně zakotvená v kontextu výchozí kultury. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části - teoretickou a analytickou. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na specifika tvoření titulků, titulkovací komunitu a konkrétní otázky, kterými by se měl překladatel ve vztahu k titulkům určeným dětskému publiku zabývat. Teoretická část se také věnuje překladatelským strategiím využívaným při tvorbě titulků. Zvláštní pozornost je tu věnována zejména modelu Henrika Gottlieba, jehož klasifikaci následně využíváme při hodnocení titulků. Závěr teoretické části je věnován problematice překladu pohádek, jež mají v každé zemi vlastní tradici a dikci. Základ praktické části tvoří analýza ruských titulků k českému filmovému zpracování příběhu Popelky, a sice k pohádce Tři oříšky pro Popelku (z roku 1973). V rámci vymezení materiálu nejprve seznamujeme čtenáře s historií příběhu o Popelce a představujeme hlavní hrdinku z pohledu ruské a české tradice. Během... The aim of this thesis is to present the specificities related to audio-visual translation, namely the subtitling of fairy tales, the specificities that manifest both in relation to the target audience and to the national tradition associated with a certain fairy tale. Their manifestations are then examined in a comparative analysis, in which it is evaluated how successfully the translation transferred sections strongly stipulated in the cultural context of the source culture into the target language. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and analytical. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the specificities of subtitling, the subtitling community and the specific issues that a translator should address in relation to subtitles intended for a child audience. The theoretical part also focuses on translation strategies used in subtitle production, with particular attention paid to Henrik Gottlieb's model, whose classification is then used in subtitle evaluation. Finally, this section is devoted to the problem of translating fairy tales, which have their own tradition and diction in each country.
