Vzhledem k narůstajícím poznatkům o psychedelických sloučeninách v oblasti péče o duševní zdraví poskytnutých vědeckými výzkumy v posledních dekádách jsou následné účinky 5-MeO- DMT na aspekty duševního zdraví relativně neprobádány. Jeho jedinečné akutní subjektivní účinky lze pozorovat v rámci fenomenologie. Dosavadní studie naznačují, že zážitek rozpouštění ega a mystický zážitek významně souvisejí se zlepšením duševního zdraví. Tato práce si stanovila dva záměry. Prvním záměrem je prozkoumat bezprostřední zkušenost s touto látkou. Druhým záměrem je zmapovat souvislost mezi účinkem této látky a aspekty duševního zdraví v období po užití látky. V teoretické části je vymezeno duševní zdraví, psychedelika a 5-MeO-DMT. Vedle toho se v ní píše o historii, kontextu užití, akutních a následných účincích, a rizicích těchto látek. Představuje především aktuální zjištění o fenomenologii 5-MeO-DMT a empirické práce zaměřené na souvislost užití látky s duševním zdravím. Empirická část popisuje výzkum, který zahrnoval deset polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zdravými uživateli 5-MeO-DMT, zpracovanými tematickou analýzou. Ukázalo se, že fenomenologie 5-MeO- DMT sestávala v tomto výzkumu z prožitku smrti a prožitku esence bytí. Nakonec jsem identifikoval následující pozitivní aspekty duševního zdraví... Given the increasing knowledge of psychedelic compounds in the field of mental health care provided by scientific research in recent decades, the aftereffects of 5-MeO-DMT on aspects of mental health are relatively unexplored. Its unique acute subjective effects can be observed within phenomenology. Studies to date suggest that the experience of ego dissolution and mystical experience are significantly related to improvements in mental health. This work has two objectives. The first intention is to explore the immediate experience with this substance. The second intention is to map the connection between the effect of this substance and aspects of mental health in the period after the use of the substance. In the theoretical part, mental health, psychedelics and 5-MeO-DMT are defined. It primarily presents current findings on the phenomenology of 5-MeO-DMT and empirical work focused on the connection between that substance and mental health. The empirical part describes the research, which included the semi-structured interviews with healthy users of 5-MeO-DMT, processed by thematic analysis.
