Tato práce pojednává o symbolice barev v díle Deník o Čarnojevićovi od Miloše Crnjanského, přičemž samotný román je zasazený do kontextu 1. světové války, kterou sám autor zažil. Deník o Čarnojevićovi je text, který s minimálním odstupem reflektuje 1. světovou válku z avantgardních pozic, tématika této události je tím pádem ústředním motivem celého románu, což se odráží i v symbolice a použití barev. Práce se zaměřuje na barvy, hledá a popisuje jejich ústřední motivy (pokud byly u dané barvy identifikovány) a stanovuje, zda se využívají pouze jako deskriptivní, či ovlivňují text natolik, aby bylo možné dojít k nové interpretaci kontextu nebo událostí. Tato práce má za cíl poukázat na to, jak autor dané barvy vnímá, případně nastínit další možnou interpretaci románu. Je zde prezentován souhrn všech barev, které se v díle objeví, a zároveň i všechna slova, která jsou popsána jako barevná. Díky tomu bude mít čtenář větší možnost uchopit jejich primární motivy a případně odkrýt ty, které nejsou až tak výrazné a v samotném textu se ztrácí. Cílem je tedy nejen objasnit, jakým způsobem autor v tomto textu využívá barvy a jaký používá systém při práci s nimi, ale i vybídnout čtenáře románu k tomu, aby si všiml motivů, které se v popisech hlavní dějové linky objevují jen marginálně. This paper discusses the symbolism of color in Miloš Crnjanski's novel called The Diary of Čarnojević. The novel itself is set in the context of World War I, which the author himself experienced. The Diary of Čarnojević is a text that reflects on World War I from an avant-garde position with minimal distance; the theme of this event is thus a central motif throughout the novel, which is also reflected in the symbolism and use of color. The thesis focuses on color, looking for and describing its central motifs (if they were identified for a given color) and determining whether they are used merely as descriptive or whether they influence the text enough to allow for a new interpretation of the context or events. This thesis aims to highlight the author's perception of the colors in question and outline another possible interpretation of the novel. A summary of all the colors that appear in the text is presented, as well as all the words that are described as colored. In this way, the reader will be better able to grasp the primary motifs of color and possibly uncover those that are not so prominent and are lost in the text itself.
